“Great little book”

This is something I can see myself reading to little ones and having lots of conversations about the beautiful pictures, but also I think it will be lovely for young readers too.

It will be a firm favourite at bedtime!

“The Magic Oak Tree by Sally Jenkins”

Absolutely love this little book , my granddaughter is going to love it too, she loves playing outside with the butterflies, beetles and all insects and wildlife. All children will relate to this story and can probably add a little story of their own! Love the illustrations, especially the deer and squirrels. Perfect stocking filler for any child.

Bring back my childhood memories, we were always outside climbing trees, jumping ditches and playing in the fields. Brilliant first book Sally... . More please x

“Beautifully written”

This book is my childhood. It captures how I felt growing up being surrounded by the wonders of nature. It also has an underlying message that life continues whatever!! Its beautifully written and the detailed illustrations are lovingly drawn in incredible detail by Sally the Author and her family. The love of nature shines through every page. I think this book will inspire many children to stop and take in their surroundings when walking out in the countryside and hopefully look after it too. This would make a wonderful stocking filler I can highly recommend!!

"Heart warming & uplifting"

Really enjoyed this great little story as it detailed the sights and sounds of kids growing up in the great outdoors. Heart warming and uplifting it captures the beauty of our created, natural world. Highly recommended.
